He had gleeful joy from letting himself go and splashing in the puddles.
Your socks may get a little wet, but they will dry...Meanwhile you had the joy of splashing in the puddles! But what to do about Grammpy? He never got his socks wet and he didn't splash in the water either.
At some point in time, he's gotta let go and jump in!
