Previous signs have indicated that 911 calls are free. This was replaced by signs that indicated no charge. We have now evolved to the current sign of no coin required. Whatever happened to the word "free", that it is being eliminated?

It does,n say free so that they can charge you later if they feel the the 911 call was not needed.
