It doesn't matter how old you are, everyone enjoys tossing twigs into the water. You have to keep a watchful eye on your stick to see which way the current carries it. Ethan's stick has just bumped into a rock, and then it spun around several times before the current carried it away. Ethan's gaze is following his stick for as long as he can.
I hope I can always keep my eyes focused on these memories.
