Faith and Dave had a most excellent adventure to Ogunquit. We took a boat ride to the Nubble light house.

What is the proper way to eat an ice cream cone? Grampy and Grammy had lots of advise. Lick from the bottom and keep rotating the cone! However, each most learn this equation for themselves. At the expense of dropping ice cream on your shoes and clothes!

Dropped Ice Cream

Ethan's ice cream fell off his cone. Hee was very lucky that staff replaced his ice cream cone. So what does a boy do with two ice cream comes? He puts the ice cream between the two cones and twirls it like he was eating spaghetti.

Memorial Day

On memorial day we take time to remember those who have given their all for our freedom. Some have fallen on foreign soil and some have watery graves. There is a special white cross ceremony to remember these individuals whose remains have never returned home. Their names are read aloud and the response is "not present".

Eric's class put on a living wax museum project and he was John Adams. You stepped on a yellow circle in front of him and he would then tell you about John Adams. It was a lot of fun and he did a great job!

We had the Princess spend the night. There was so much that she wanted to do that she created a to do list. It's an honor that she would want to spend the night with us. And that she looked forward to it so much that she created a list of things to do!

I was surprised to discover that Princess Janelle had used me in her word of the week project at school. It's fun to see how children see you and it's also very humbling.
