The Last Walk

I took Buddy's ashes and we went on our last walk. We walked thru the woods until I came to a familiar tree where we would often stop. I said a prayer and thanked God for the gift of Buddy and then I read this beautiful poem that my neighbor Kate gave to me. I've learned that I have wonderful friends who have shared their compassion and support for me.

Houses On Water

The kids were shocked to see lots of trucks, houses and tents on the ice. Especially when they could see water running under the ice. They couldn't understand why anyone would trust the ice. You can only trust the ice in your lemonade.

Real Maple Syrup

The maple buckets are hanging on the trees so it is time for us to go to the maple sugar shack and get some freshly made real maple syrup. While we are there we had to get some fresh pancakes to go with our syrup!

Something is wrong in Vegas. There is no snow. People are swimming in outside pools. There are strange looking pine trees that have coconuts on them!

Buddy

Buddy wasn't just a dog he was a wonderful companion. All he wanted to do was to be wherever I was. No matter what I was doing he had to be beside me. When I came home he was there waiting with his tail thumping the floor. I would give anything to have him forever. I look forward to the day when death itself shall die.

Buddy Hiking

Buddy and I went hiking everyday of his life, until his health wouldn't permit it any longer. By providing him with the exercise that he needed I received the exercise that I needed. I will miss him so much!

Buddy the Snow Dog

Buddy would help me pull the sled up the hill with the kids still sitting in the sled. I think the kids had more fun watching me pull them up the hill then they had sliding down the hill.

Buddy loved to play with children. He had a wonderful and gentle personality.

When his legs began to fail him, Eric and I built some steps for him.

We've all heard about cat naps well Buddy had his own style of napping. He had to jump on a leather sofa and lay his head on a pillow.

Buddy was a great leggo builder. He had to make sure that all structures included storage for dog bones.

Buddy really enjoyed sledding and being with the kids.

Buddy loved the snow. I would shovel the snow and he would leap to catch it.

Buddy simply loved! He loved everything and everyone. No matter what anyone did to him he was always kind and gentle. Qualities that attracted him to children.
