The difference between a child and an adult is imagination. I was watching the kids play and which character they wanted to be. There are so many things that I am going to do differently when I become a kid again!

When I was a boy I had cowboys and toy soldiers. There were good guys and bad guys. The toys these days are gross looking characters with complicated names. But there are still good guys and bad guys. Maybe everything you really need to know can be learned in the sandbox.

Faster Than A Bullet

He was standing next to me and he was so quiet. I made the tactical error of turning in his direction. Quietness in boys means they are revving their engines so they can take off when the flag goes down. Only I am the flag and I am going down.

Snow plow operators like to bend the rules and the street signs. It has been a nasty winter!

Happy Birthday

Ethan received some very cool snap circuits for his birthday. Some of the pieces need to be assembled with three different sections intersecting one on top of another. Grampy is fortunate that Ethan is a multi dimensional thinker and can show me the proper way to assemble the circuits.

Face Wall

Face book might be a social media but my mother has a wall of faces that is her social media. Everyone that comes in her room becomes socially introduced to all of her loved ones who are pictured on her wall.

Princess Warrior

Janelle the Princess Warrior also is into martial arts. Some girls play house and then there are those that can kick the house!

Kung Fu Fighter

Ethan just received another karate belt and he was showing me his moves. I feel a lot safer with him on my side!
