The Princess loves to pick those pretty yellow flowers that grow at the park. She gave me one and I put it in my wallet. I keep everything that the grandchildren give me, even the stones that they find, pick up and then give to me. Simply because it is from them to me. And because of that, it is special to me.
She can scale a wall without breaking a nail. She asked for some help. So I told her, right foot here, left hand there, reach up. And when she pulled herself up, she smiled that victory smile and we both celebrated!
Ethan and Janelle found some construction tape that they asked me to tie around their sticks. Another kid at the park asked if I would tie some around his stick. Then he tells me that I tied a lousy knot. I asked him what it should look like and he said like his shoe laces. So I tied it again, and again he said I did a lousy job. I asked what was wrong this time. He said that the loops were longer then the ends!
Why do we love our pets? Because they love us! If we have an unpleasant moment, they still love us and treat us as if nothing ever happened. They follow us from room to room, just to be near us. When you come home, they are so happy to see you that they shake from head to tail. With all that they give us, how can we do any less for them?
