If you live in New England, you can go to a grist mill and watch your flour being ground. Here, the boys are being shown the wheat before it is ground up. Then they got to lift the barrel lids and shovel the ground wheat. They were very impressed! Youth is the age of discovery and without youth, we just age.

Humongous Is A Cooking Term

I was multi tasking while making ravioli, when my five year old cooking assistant shouted, "That's humongous", as he pointed to the stove. Then two jars of spaghetti were ruined, due to defective lids. Then sippy cups containing sticky apple juice were rolling around on the table. Then sit down to eat and a little person gets up to go to the bathroom and locks the door. But I wouldn't trade these moments for anything.
