Birdie

The Princess has a stuffed bird that she named "birdie". The car can't leave the driveway unless birdie is safely aboard. This bird is like a weekend at bernie's. No matter what you do to the bird it keeps coming back and reappearing.

The air is getting crisper, the students are returning and the campus cannon is painted once again. You have to admire the optimism and the hope of youth. For without hope, there is only reality.

Installers

My appliances are almost 19 years old so we replaced them all. It was raining so hard on the installation day that it was raining chipmunks. The astute installers let a chipmunk into my house. They then asked if my dog would catch it. The ice maker was left at the store but they connected the water line anyway and turned it on.

It has been a horrible day.

It is so exhausting laying on the beach and swimming in the ocean. But the time has come to load up the car and head on back.

How To Trim A Bush

If you have a house with gables, then you have to have bushes that are wide on the bottom and tapered at the top. Tall bushes have to be in the front and at the corners. Short bushes have to be placed between the tall bushes to add depth.

But then an artist has to trim them to make them come alive.

Harwich Stroll

From 6-9 pm, there was a stroll thru downtown Harwich. Stores were open, there were many different musical artists performing.

It was a stroll thru another place and time. A time when people interacted with other people. A place where social interaction is between people without the use of any Facebook application.

There is no doubt how big of an impact the iPod has had on our generation. But it has had a bigger impact upon the younger generation.
